Nato Tomatoe

Nate has got terrible dry skin and the doc recommended baby oil. I struggled to find any at the store but finally found some while we are the beach. We tried it on him yesterday and he had an allergic reaction to it and turned bright red. It was Grandma Hudson's birthday and it looks like he got to close to the candles with that bright red forehead. I felt so bad for the little guy.

Hey Julia,
I wanted to let you know that Ansley always had really dry skin as a baby, actually just until recently. She had pretty bad ezcema and most lotions made her sking break out. We finally saw a pediatric dermatalogist and they recommend CeraVe. They have a cream and a lotion and even a cleanser in the place of soap. We use the cream, it works better then the lotion and it is not greasy. You can find it at Rite Aid/Eckerd stores and CVS stores. You may want to try that, it is for sensitive skin and kids with Excema. It is awesome and works a lot better then Aquaphor which is what most people recommend for dry skin.

Good luck!

He is still so cute! No matter how "nato tomatoe" he is! Hope it clears up soon for ya'll. I was thinking Aquaphor until I read the first comment! It is good to know about that CeraVe. I'll have to remember that too. Lela

Hey Julia,
I wanted to let you know what we tried with Harlan, Carol Lynne's baby she had eczema real bad to. We have pictures of her face and it looked like she had been burned it was so inflamed. Carol Lynne took her to Dr after Dr and finally somebody told her to try the baby Arbonne she completely cleared up she uses the lotion and the cleansing. We have pictures before and after and you would not believe it was the same child. She continues to use it every time she gets a bath and she is nine months old now.

Hope you find something that will work for him. He is a cutie.

Jackson also had bad eczema, and Aquaphor worked well for us. I was also told to try CeraVe, but never did. I've heard it's wonderful.
I have another friend whose son has severe eczema, and tried the Arbonne baby line. I've heard it works well, but it didn't work for him.
Just some thoughts. Hope it helps!
